Job Description A position for a Data Integration Operations Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, Spain. The successful candidate will join TDDT Data Integration. As a Data Integration Operations Manager you will take responsibility for guaranteeing the right data integration service is delivered in the Spanish and Divisional facilities, in relation to existing data interfaces using our transversal and transnational Integration Platforms / Products. The successful candidate will work alongside a multi-disciplinary IT service team following ITIL v4 best practices. You will ensure that the ecosystem related to Data Integration platforms is maintained up to date, monitor, patch and guarantee the security implementation of company rules to safeguard the ecosystem from potential breakdowns and / or malicious attacks.

You will also guarantee that modifications and continuous improvements of existing data integrations are managed and deployed properly, and you will be the single point of contact to handle the external service contract in the Spain facilities. You will enable data flows to move inside Airbus Defence & Space and to / from outside partners, customers or governments.

Main tasks Monitoring Service Health through existing automated tools and routines, with focus on incident management in line with service SLAs

Define metrics for service support levels when external services are in place

Lead RCA for problems within your perimeter of responsibility (local or divisional)

Manage patch implementation, including security white papers validated by the Data Integration Solution Architect

In charge of all EIS of all Projects related to Data Integration, following existing methodology

Manage minor modifications to Data Integration in service flows via Change Requests

Renew licenses and certificates in Data Integration product / platforms under your perimeter

Be the main single point of contact towards external service providers for operational activities

Deliverables Service KPIs per product and location

RCA and associated action plans

Patches deployment planning per technology

G9 deliverables for all Projects in your perimeter

Licensing monitoring (including related products such as antivirus)

OneCompass up to date in relation to IS instances of all Data Integration Service components in the local area

Skills & Competencies University degree in an IT-related field

Existing Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one

English negotiation level (French knowledge is a plus)

Strong collaboration and communication skills

5+ years of relevant work experience as a DataOps Engineer or in Operations Management

Extensive experience with ITIL v4 and IT Service Management

Problem solving methodologies knowledge (PPS, 5 Whys, etc.) and attention to detail

Experience in developing technical and support documentation, translating business requirements into reporting and models

Experience querying and managing relational and NoSQL databases

Knowledge of DevOps methods and tools (some experience is a plus)

IT project management basics, Waterfall and Agile

System Administration experience in Windows and Linux environments

Basic knowledge about Data Analytics

Basic knowledge about Data Governance and Data Lineage

Basic knowledge in building ESB and / or ETL / ELT solutions for large-scale data pipelines (on-premises)

Experience with API-based services technologies is a plus
