Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Data Governance Specialist , responsible for ensuring the alignment between global data governance standards and regional execution. This position will facilitate communication, drive data quality, and implement effective governance practices within a specific domain.

Key responsibilities include :

• Collaborate with Global and Regional Data Domain Owners to ensure consistent data practices across all levels.
• Assist in identifying critical data and conducting impact analysis on data changes, blockages, and deletions, ensuring no disruption to current reporting or downstream systems.
• Coordinate with Regional Responsibles to gather information for the Sanction List process (applicable only to Customer and Vendor domains)
• Ensure data within the domain is protected and comply with relevant data privacy and security regulations.
• Monitor Master Data Internal Controls implementation at Global level within the domain.
• Supports the definition and implementation of data quality requirements, metrics, and thresholds, at the domain level.
• Maintain and update metadata artifacts (e.g., business glossaries, data dictionaries, data lineage).
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on data quality and compliance within the assigned domain, ensuring alignment with global governance frameworks.
• Ensure governance practices are followed during domain data integration into the Data PowerHouse platform.
• Align business processes with SAP MDG standards for managing master data.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring data governance requirements are met.
• Supports data issues resolution at domain level.
