Lead SCADA Engineer for Renewable EnergyAbout the Job : We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA engineer to lead our renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing SCADA systems for wind farms and other renewable energy sources.Main Responsibilities : - Design and implement SCADA systems for wind farms and other renewable energy sources.- Develop and maintain employer requirements for work packages to ensure design meets industry standards.- Provide technical support to ensure project delivery according to Employer Requirements.- Identify stakeholders and ensure systems comply with 3rd party requirements, particularly data interfaces, delivery, and control over assets.- Support commissioning of SCADA and operational support systems to guarantee correct operation and integration into fleet-wise platform.- Lead adoption of cybersecurity standards across different systems and elements at site.- Support OW IT with defining requirements for site DMZ according to OW's standard and cybersecurity requirements.- Work with Operational Infrastructure and Performance team to develop OW's standard for integrating new assets and streamlining development.- Identify opportunities to optimize SCADA and operational support systems delivery for assets.Required Skills and Qualifications : - Relevant engineering degree (Computer networks, Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering) is required.- Minimum 5 years' experience working with SCADA technologies, control, and automation systems.- Experience in wind, renewable energies, or electricity transmission is strongly preferred.Benefits : This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions.
