The Company

Kooling is a London-based technology company specializing in the development of innovative mobility solutions. The company has been selected for competitive innovation funding and support programs promoted by Innovate UK, Slaughter and May's Fast Forward program, and the Toyota Mobility Foundation. Kooling also invests in research and collaborates with leading academic institutions, including Imperial College London and SDA Bocconi.

Kooling operates its own digital infrastructure to collect, standardize, and process mobility data. On top of this infrastructure, it develops advanced services for businesses and public administrations. Kooling's technologies support mobility data management in some of Europe's most complex metropolitan areas. Our client portfolio ranges from SMEs to multinational corporations.

The role

After receiving initial training and with ongoing support and guidance from management, the BDS will work independently to ensure a continuous flow of appointments with executives and decision-makers from potential new clients and/or institutional partners. Their role involves researching, profiling, and contacting decision-makers, scheduling sales meetings (remotely or in person) and conducting them through to closing.

Main responsibilities

• Research, profiling and selection of companies belonging to the target segments
• Identification of key business stakeholders, including the CEO, CFO, Mobility Manager, and other functional executives
• Identification of relevant contacts within public administrations and institutional organizations.
• Outbound contact activities via email, LinkedIn and telephone
• Management of incoming contacts via email and telephone
• Qualification of corporate responsibilities, needs, and potential commercial interest
• Organize and hold qualified meetings with potential clients
• Present Kooling's solutions and conduct demonstrations, with the support Kooling management when necessary
• Develop proposals, negotiate and guide agreements to their completion
• Request the participation of Kooling mgmt, including founders, where this adds value to meetings
• Record and promptly update business activities in the CRM.

The BDS will manage the sales process from start to finish. Kooling provides pre-sales, technical, and management support as needed (demonstrations, proposals, and negotiations). Final acceptance of the terms and signing of commercial contracts are the responsibility of Kooling.

• Volume of qualified meetings generated in the approved target group
• Contribution to the creation of new business opportunities
• Quality, punctuality and professionalism in written and verbal communications
• Accuracy and punctuality in CRM updates

Candidate profile

• Experience in enterprise technology sales
• Analytical skills in market research and opportunity identification
• Excellent communication skills to interact at the highest corporate and institutional level nationwide
• Proactive and results-oriented personality
• Good knowledge of the Spanish economic and institutional framework
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline
• Knowledge of CRM, LinkedIn and email marketing tools
• Excellent command of Spanish and good knowledge of English
• VAT number and ability to work as a self-employed professional

Compensation

The collaboration includes:

• A monthly base compensation linked to the achievement of agreed lead generation targets
• Significant commission on the negotiated contract value
• No commission cap
• Right to commission on acquired customers, regardless of whether or not the monthly lead generation target is met

There is significant potential for variable compensation, directly controllable and linked to performance. The detailed compensation structure, objectives, and opportunity allocation criteria will be explained during the selection process.
