At Hitachi Energy, we are developing advanced power electronics solutions that support the energy transition. As a Testing Technician, you will play a key role in validating innovative products before they reach the market.

You will join a multidisciplinary team working closely with R&D, Hardware, Firmware, Quality, and Industrialization specialists. Together, you will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, safety, and quality.

This role offers a hands‑on environment where you will work with laboratory equipment, test benches, and prototype systems. You will execute a wide range of functional, electrical, thermal, environmental, and system integration tests. Your work will directly contribute to product validation, certification activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

How you’ll make an impact

• 
  
• Prepare test benches, instrumentation, and measurement equipment for product validation activities.
  
• Execute test plans in line with established procedures and laboratory protocols.
  
• Perform functional, electrical, thermal, mechanical, and system integration tests.
  
• Monitor critical test parameters and maintain accurate records of results.
  
• Identify, document, and report deviations, anomalies, and technical issues.
  
• Partner with R&D, Hardware, Firmware, Quality, and Industrialization teams to investigate and resolve product challenges.
  
• Support debugging activities, root cause investigations, and validation of corrective actions.
  
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliable test execution.
  
• Create technical reports and test documentation to support development and certification activities.
  
• Promote compliance with laboratory safety requirements, quality standards, and internal procedures.
  

Your background

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  
• Experience validating electronic products and/or embedded software.
  
• Experience using laboratory test benches and HIL systems.
  
• Knowledge of electrical system design, power converters, and control systems.
  
• Experience using laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and multimeters.
  
• High level of proficiency in English and Spanish.
  
• Strong commitment to safe working practices and quality standards.
  
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in testing and product validation.Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems, battery technologies, product certification activities, and international standards will be considered during the overall evaluation process.
