ARQUIMEA, we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.Our areas of activity are Aerospace, Defense & Security, Big Science, Biotechnology and Fintech.Main function and scopeContribute to the development of innovative biosensing technologiesTransition across related medical device technologiesWe are looking for an energetic, hands-on and highly adaptable researcher who enjoys working across different projects and technologies in a dynamic, startup-like R&D environment.Primary FunctionsDesign, develop, integrate and experimentally validate biosensing platforms including point-of-care and continuous biosensing technologies.Develop and optimize sensor prototypes, including functionalization, integration, testing and performance characterization.Conceptualize, plan and prepare research proposals from recognizing and exploiting opportunities for innovation and progress for further development or creation of new lines of research.Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations and research proposals.Contribute to lab organization, experimental workflows and good laboratory practicesRapidly learn and adapt to new projects, technologies and technical challenges.Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external teams.Support US expansion activities, including technical collaborations and external R&D opportunities.Other reasonable duties as required.Required experience and candidate profileThe candidate may have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering followed by a Ph.D.
