Construction Technical Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer to assist in the construction monitoring and planning of EPC

projects, primarily focusing on the revision of technical site documentation and

overseeing subcontractor’s site works in order to match contractual time

schedule, quality of works and monetary costs from the beginning to the end

of a project.

Job duties:

➔ Assist in planning, data gathering and technical design of the project

➔ Revision of site technical documentation prior submission to project

consultant, such as Material Submittals, Method of Statements and Shop

Drawings

➔ Monitoring of subcontractor’s works and construction progress,

providing technical assistance to the construction site team

➔ Monitoring of the costs associated with the construction project from

outset until completion, verifying site team numbers and records

➔ Performing quantity calculations based on technical drawings

➔ Produce AutoCAD schematics, sketches and drawings for engineering

design and reports

➔ Checking with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors that materials and

equipments meet contract specifications

Minimum requirements:

➔ Testable field experience in construction or construction consultancy of

buildings and/or infrastructure projects

➔ Experience reading Architectural, Civil, Mechanical & Electrical drawings

➔ Languages: fluent in English

➔ Sofware:

- Drawing: proficient on AutoCAD 2D

- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Desirable additional requirements:

➔ Experience in industrial projects by carrying out proper coordination

between civil works and all industrial works and teams involved in the

project (Mechanical, Electrical,...)

➔ Experience in construction of steel buildings

➔ Experience in Quality Control

➔ Knowledge in structural calculations

➔ Availability upon request
