Seasoning Developer (M/F/D) - Symrise

As an experienced seasoning developer, you lead seasoning concepts from idea to production, ensuring technical performance and customer satisfaction. You work closely with cross-functional teams and directly engage with a key snack customer. You optimize formulations, validate them through lab and industrial trials, and support scale-up and production, driving on-time delivery and compliant results. This role blends hands-on development with strategic customer collaboration to shape savory product offerings.

• Lead development of seasoning solutions tailored to customer product portfolios
• Create, optimize, and adapt formulations based on performance targets, customer needs, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure excellent application performance in finished products, including taste, stability, and process behavior
• Evaluate formulations through lab work, pilot trials, and industrial validation
• Support scale-up and production trials, both internally and at customer sites
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions when needed
• Act as a key technical contact for the customer on ongoing projects and innovation initiatives
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Supply Chain
• Deliver projects on time, fully documented, and aligned with internal processes and customer constraints
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards
• 5–9 years of experience in seasoning, savory, or flavor development (ideally in snacks or savory foods)
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both required)
• Strong understanding of seasoning functionality in industrial food production
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing trials and scale-up
