AI-Enabled Fullstack Engineer (Java - React)

This is a hands-on role for an experienced fullstack engineer who enjoys combining Java/Spring, React, architecture design, and AI-assisted development to turn ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve a new digital product using Java/Spring Boot and React.
  
• Design solution architecture and make key technical decisions.
  
• Develop end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and integrations.
  
• Collaborate with Spanish-speaking stakeholders to define and deliver MVP capabilities.
  
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
  
• Contribute to product strategy, technical direction, and continuous improvement of the solution.
  
• Promote engineering best practices and provide technical leadership within the project team.
  

Skills Description

• 
  
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
  
• Hands-on experience in fullstack development, including backend services, frontend applications, APIs, and integrations.
  
• Experience designing and building applications from scratch, including MVPs and greenfield projects.
  
• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, performance, and maintainability principles.
  
• Experience working with microservices, REST APIs, and modern application architectures.
  
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) throughout the software development lifecycle.
  
• Ability to evaluate technical alternatives, create proof-of-concepts, and make pragmatic architectural decisions.
  
• Understanding of software quality practices, including testing, code reviews, security, and automation.
  
• Experience collaborating with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  
• Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and drive technical discussions and decisions.
  
• Fluent Spanish (C1 or higher) and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Spanish-speaking stakeholders.
