Backend Engineer - Lending - Barcelona

In this role you will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a fast-moving fintech environment. You will collaborate in a cross-functional team to deliver scalable banking solutions in the Financial Empowerment domain. You’ll stay current with tech trends and contribute ideas during Get Stuff Done Days. Expect a hands-on role with impact on secure, well-tested code in a modern cloud setup.

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a large-scale system
• Manage individual project priorities within a collaborative team
• Stay updated with latest technologies and propose new findings during GSDD
• Contribute to secure, well-documented and well-tested codebases
• Participate in a modern cloud-based architecture and microservices environment
• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin a plus)
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, xcskxlj preferably Postgres
• Experience with modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS
• Strong bias for action and delivering results
• Commitment to security and well-documented code
