McCann is looking for a Junior Art Director to join our Creative team in Barcelona. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their creative career who is passionate about design, branding, advertising, and visual storytelling.

As a Junior Art Director, you will work alongside a Junior Copywriter and multidisciplinary teams to develop creative concepts, campaigns, and visual assets for a range of local and global clients. You will contribute to the creation and evolution of brand identities, marketing campaigns, and digital experiences, helping bring strategic ideas to life through compelling visual execution.

We are looking for a proactive, curious, and ambitious creative with strong design fundamentals, a passion for innovation, and a desire to grow within one of the world's leading creative networks.

What You'll Do

• Support the development and execution of integrated creative campaigns across multiple channels.
• Translate strategic insights and brand positioning into impactful visual concepts and executions.
• Produce high-quality photo compositions and image editing using Photoshop.
• Support the creation and editing of video content for digital platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Creative Directors, Strategists, Account teams, and Production specialists.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas and solutions.
• Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, AI applications, and cultural developments.
• Contribute to client presentations and support the communication of creative ideas.

Who You Are

• 1-2 years of experience in creative design, ideally within branding, advertising, or creative agency environments.
• Strong ability to develop ideas, campaigns, and brand experiences with strategic thinking.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and excellent aesthetic judgment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience working with AI-powered creative and design tools.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using AI tools within creative and design workflows.
• Experience working on branded content projects or editorial-style campaigns.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
