Timken Lubrication Systems, a family of brands in the Timken Company, is looking to hire in Madrid:

Sales Engineer (Lubrication Systems)

Reporting to the Sales Manager and supported by a dedicated team of customer service, engineering, and marketing, the candidate should ideally be a Mechanical Engineer with some first experience in technical sales.

Areas of responsibility

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans based on the differentiating value of the Timken Lubrication solutions in his/her area.
• Identify, develop, and execute new business development opportunities, strategies and tactics leading to profitable growth which surpass market conditions.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through regular face-to-face customer visits and interactions, requiring travel and detailed post-sales follow-up.
• Proactively analyze customer needs and issues, utilizing formalized problem-solving techniques to drive continuous improvement activities and communicate needs.
• Assist sales management in planning selling strategies and market planning activities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• Some first relevant experience in industrial technical sales.
• Experience with CRM tools, forecasting and sales planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter with strong customer focus and result orientation.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to travel in and outside the sales region.
