As Senior Pre‑Sales Consultant – Digital Workplace, you will shape SoftwareOne’s Microsoft‑based workplace solutions for our customers. You will help them work smarter, collaborate better, and modernize with confidence. You will partner with sales, consulting, delivery, partners, and vendors across the sales cycle. Together, you will understand our customer’s goals and transform them into practical solution recommendations. In this role, you can combine your technical expertise, commercial awareness, and customer engagement. Your work will support our customers in achieving meaningful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business requirements, challenges, and goals, and identify where Microsoft technologies can create value
  
• Design and present tailored digital workplace solutions in collaboration with the sales team
  
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof of concepts that clearly show solution benefits and capabilities
  
• Provide technical guidance across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, and related Microsoft technologies
  
• Support proposal development by contributing technical input, solution configuration, licensing guidance, and pricing accuracy
  
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
  

What we need to see from you

• 
  
• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, and SharePoint
  
• Experience in pre‑sales, technical consulting, solution consulting, or a similar customer‑facing technology role
  
• Ability to translate customer requirements into clear, practical solution recommendations
  
• Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  
• Experience with solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, or pilot activities
  
• A proactive, customer‑focused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
