Tasks
The candidate will join the IT Systems Section within the Computing Division, contributing to IT system administration (including project management, installation, maintenance, and support) and assisting with user support for IT services.
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator with a proven track record of supporting hundreds of users, ideally in an international environment. The ideal candidate will also have solid expertise in managing large-scale IT infrastructures, encompassing thousands of connected devices, hundreds of servers, and numerous end-user systems.
Key responsibilities of the IT Systems Administrator:
- Designing and implementing IT systems projects.
- Managing and maintaining existing IT infrastructures.
- Ensuring the proper administration and operation of assigned IT services.
- Running procurement processes to acquire the necessary equipment and services for maintaining IT systems.
- Providing technical support to end users, resolving incidents and service requests.
- Collaborating effectively as part of a team with other IT Systems Administrators.
Requirements
The requirements for participation must be met on the date of the deadline for the submission of applications and will be accredited by means of the CV attached to it, without prejudice to the power of the selection body to require the contribution of the originals of the certifications accrediting the qualifications, training and work experience invoked in the CV.
Applications that do not present the aforementioned or required documentation during the selection procedure will not be accepted.
Formal Education:
- University degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Final-year students may also be considered, provided they have completed at least 180 ECTS credits.
- Alternatively, CFGS in ASIX (Administration of networked computing systems) will also be considered.
System administration:
- All candidates, regardless of the formal education, must have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in administering, designing architecture or leading deployment projects in IT infrastructures with hundreds of networked devices.
The position requires speaking and writing English fluently (equivalent to C1 level).
