About the role:

We are looking for a passionate SAP CAP Developer with +3 years of experience to join our Central IT team. In this role, you will develop and maintain innovative software products for our internal business colleagues, working closely with our SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work in international and cross-functional teams alongside software developers, product owners and business stakeholders from across the organization to create modern business applications and deliver valuable digital solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Development of modern, high performance secure and user-oriented business applications on SAP BTP with CAP (Node.js) and Fiori Elements in accordance with the given guidelines.
• Execution of reviews in the development team.
• Creation and execution of unit tests.
• Creation of technical documentation.
• Deployment of the application.
• Maintenance and extension of existing applications in the mentioned technology stack.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role working with the following stack
• CAP Development: Deep knowledge and experience in developing applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js.
• Core Data Services (CDS): Strong knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) is essential.
• JavaScript and TypeScript: Proficiency in both JavaScript and TypeScript for CAP development.
• Fiori Elements: Expertise in Fiori Elements .
• Version Control and Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in using Git.
• Software Architecture: Understanding of Architecture principles.
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Soft skills:

• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Industry Trends: Commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Free Style UI5
• ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP)
• Knowledge about S/4 Data Model and processes
• Jira and Confluence
• Ability to extend Fiori Elements using the Flexible Programming Model
