Procurement Specialist

At China Three Gorges Europe we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Department and support our mission of powering the world with renewable energy. In this role, you will learn and assist in different tasks:

Procurement Project Management:

• Receive order lists and initiate procurement documentation.
• Invite suppliers to register in ARIBA and coordinate due diligence.
• Prepare evaluation reports and manage internal approvals.
• Review supplier information and documents uploaded to ARIBA.
• Conduct credit evaluations using the comprehensive scoring method for each project and annually.

Audit & Data Requests:

• Collaboratively handle audits and data collection tasks requested by headquarters.
• Periodic review of finalized contracts with the contract management team.
• Updates the procurement registry.

Contract Management Support:

• Review and correct contract data in the ERP-Ariba system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Validate contract modifications during approval workflows.
• Finalize contract approval by reviewing drafts, guiding corrections, identifying authorized signatories, and issuing confirmation sheets.

Policy Review & Internal Training:

• Review and update internal contract management policies.
• Organize and deliver internal training sessions on contract management procedures.

Reporting and Supplier Compliance Evaluation:

• Collect and assess supplier compliance with contractual obligations.

Other related tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Compile summaries of contracts with individuals.
• Review and verify contracts with discrepancies or anomalies in amounts, ensuring consistency between ERP-Ariba records and actual contracts
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field.
• Master's degree will be highly valued.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience, related to Procurement is desired but not mandatory.
• English & Spanish (Advanced Level - C1).
• Chinese will be a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SAP desired. xghoner
