We are looking for a driven Procurement Manager – Site & Maintenance Services to join our regional Procurement team based in Tarragona or Barcelona, Spain.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a substantial regional procurement portfolio, delivering and developing sourcing strategies, and supply solutions for our strategic procurement category STEP (Site & Maintenance Services, Technical Equipment and Packaging) with a focus on services. Reporting to the regional Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving meaningful cost efficiencies through strategic procurement initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesImplement, execute and further develop regional sourcing strategies for site & maintenance servicesNegotiate and conclude contracts and supply agreements for a delegated portfolio of regional servicesManage procurement activities for capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely deliveryDrive measurable savings and value contributions through strategic procurement projectsExecute and manage Clariant procurement tools including SAP, SLM, Pinpools, QNS, contracts, and EcoVadisConduct market research to identify and develop new suppliers and alternative sourcing conceptsMonitor and analyze market developments within the area of responsibilityBuild and manage relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring performance, compliance, and long-term valueDrive cross-functional collaboration and maintain clear, proactive communication with internal stakeholdersSupport the development of category strategiesUphold full compliance with Clariant's procurement standards, policies, and ethical guidelinesRequirementsDegree in Business, Operations, or Procurement or an Engineering, Chemical, or Technical degree combined with a solid commercial background2+ years of experience in a business function, preferably in procurement or supply chainExperience in writing, reviewing, and negotiating supply and service contractsProficiency in SAP, particularly in procurement modulesSolid command of MS Office toolsFluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a significant advantageAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influencing skillsHigh standards of integrity, compliance awareness, and ethical conductTeam-oriented and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across functions and countriesOur Offer* Total Target Cash includes base salary and annual bonus; final offer based on skills and experienceManage a significant regional procurement portfolio with real business influenceGrow your skills within a professional, international environment and a well-structured Supply Chain functionBe part of a company that places sustainability and responsible business at the core of its strategyWork within a cross-functional, diverse team that values ownership, transparency, and continuous improvementAttractive compensation and benefits aligned with Clariant's global standardsYour ContactRodrigo WinterstellerTalent Acquisition Partner EMEATel. +49 (0)69/ #LI-RW1Clariant is a Swiss-based global specialty chemicals company, which is concentrated and developed in three business units: Care Chemicals, Catalysts and Adsorbents & Additives.
