Furry Muse is setting a new standard in pet accessories: fashion-first, performance-built. Since the viral debut of the Wander! Bow Harness, we've built a cult community of pet parents who share one belief — our pets are our muses, and they deserve the very best.

We design harnesses, walkwear, leashes, collars and 18K gold-plated pet jewelry for modern pet parents who want it all: durability, style and a touch of play. We sell direct through Shopify, plus TikTok Shop and Faire, with Chewy landing soon, and we've been featured in BuzzFeed, Modern Luxury, ABC7NY and Yahoo.

We're founder-led, fully remote and small. Now we're looking for the person who owns our Shopify store and D2C revenue end to end, and runs it like their own business.

THE ROLE

You own the D2C revenue number and the site experience that drives it. The founder keeps creative vision and product; you own how the store performs.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role reporting to the founder. Our performance agency handles media buying and our ops contractor handles listings and inventory execution — you direct both.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

- The revenue number — promo calendar, BFCM, discount discipline, AOV and margin

- Shopify CRO — testing roadmap, PDP and landing page optimization, customer journey

- Merchandising — what we feature, and recommendations on which SKUs to reorder or retire

- Agency direction — set priorities and hold our performance agency to MER and ROAS targets

- Reporting and automation — our reporting runs through Claude and MCP connections to Shopify; you'll build on it and automate the rest (Klaviyo flows, Gorgias, Shopify Flow)

- Channel health — oversee the Chewy launch and keep TikTok Shop and Faire in good shape, with our ops contractor executing

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5–7 years hands-on in Shopify at small-to-mid DTC brands selling into the US — fashion, accessories or pet ideal

- You've personally owned a D2C revenue number and can talk through what actually moved it

- You've run promotions end to end: offer architecture, inventory earmarking, landing pages

- You've run a structured A/B testing program on Shopify, not just one-off tests

- Commercially sharp — comfortable defending AOV, contribution margin and discount decisions

- AI-native — you already use AI to build reporting and workflows, xqbhyrx not just to write copy

- At home in a small, fast, remote team where you do the work yourself

NICE TO HAVE

- Klaviyo and retention experience

- TikTok Shop, Chewy or Faire

- Pet or fashion category knowledge
