JOB DESCRIPTIONThe AME is responsible to complete all the advance manufacturing deliverables for a program to develop and launch the manufacturing process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Development of manufacturing processes by completing detailed engineering analysis of:Design for assembly and Manufacturing (DFAM)Logistics and contingency planningProcess Flow (PF)Process labor planning & line balanceMaterial flow and line side presentationPlant layoutErgonomic analysisProcess failure mode and effect analysis (PFMA)Specific support activities for other programs in the regionPrepare and present the program revisions with the SDTProduction equipment & tooling specification, purchase and acceptanceValidation of manufacturing process to meet labor targets, production output and quality standards (OEE)Analysis GDT (Dimensiones y Tolereancias Geometricas)Ownership of APQP manufacturing deliverablesStatistical Knowledge (SPC, MSA, Capability Study, DOE)Value Stream MappingQualification:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
