Back-end Developer

For our office in adesso Spain, we are looking for a Back-End Developer with experience in Java to join our international team and contribute to the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure web applications.

In this role, you will work with Java, Spring, and microservices architectures, participating in technical discussions and contributing to design decisions. You will collaborate with international, cross-functional teams in an agile environment and play an active role in delivering high-quality software solutions and continuously improving development processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional experience as a Back-End Developer, with a strong focus on Java-based development.
• Solid knowledge of Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Experience working with microservices architectures.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and hands‑on experience with tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated software delivery processes.
• Experience with cloud technologies and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with relational and non‑relational databases.
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in international technical environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Camunda or other Business Process Management (BPM) platforms.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and process orchestration.
