Financial Crime Data Strategy Lead

As Financial Crime Data Strategy Lead you will define and own the end-to-end data strategy for Financial Crime across domains, enabling regulatory compliance and effective controls during a large-scale banking migration. You will partner with business, architecture and engineering to translate regulatory requirements into data solutions and establish governance with risk and audit focus. This strategic, cross-functional role sits at the center of a high-profile transformation, offering visibility and direct impact. You will shape data migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts to ensure data integrity and ongoing control effectiveness.

• Define and own the Financial Crime data strategy across areas such as Transaction Monitoring, Screening and KYC
• Lead end-to-end data migration approach including mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation
• Ensure continuity and effectiveness of Financial Crime controls throughout migration and post-migration phases
• Collaborate with business, architecture and engineering teams, translating regulatory requirements into data solutions
• Establish data governance frameworks and manage data-related risks, audit requirements and control testing
• Experience as a Data Strategy Lead, Data Migration Lead, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Financial Crime xcskxlj / AML domains
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and regulatory expectations
• Good level of English
