Laboratory Coordinator – Quality Department

At Bolton Food , we are looking for a Laboratory Coordinator to join our Quality team. This key position ensures the verification, control, and traceability of raw materials and products by coordinating internal and external analyses and guaranteeing compliance with quality standards and product certifications.

You will work closely with the Raw Materials Reception, Internal Laboratory, R&D, Production, and Quality Assurance teams, participating in audits, product blocking / unblocking processes, and shelf-life studies.

What will you do?

Traceability verification and raw material approval

• Verify that traceability information for fish and other ingredients (entry code, batch, quantity, origin, analyses performed, etc.) is accurate and compliant with product requirements.
• Create and update entry codes in the QMS (Quality Management System).
• Verify MSC chain of custody codes and compliance with regulations and certifications (CRAEGA, DOP Vinagre de Jerez, MSC, HALAL).
• Manage associated documentation (analysis reports, certifications) and archive it in the QMS.
• Ensure traceability information is maintained throughout the entire production process up to packaging.
• Act as the owner of the traceability process during internal and external audits.
