Senior Analyst / Associate - Real Estate & Hospitality Finance

Natixis CIB Madrid is seeking an Associate / Senior Analyst-level professional to contribute to the origination and execution of commercial real estate financings - asset-backed and/or corporate - and coverage of real estate clients, based in Madrid and covering both Spain & Portugal.

Working closely with all the members of the Madrid team and ultimately reporting to the Head of Real Estate and Hospitality Finance in Madrid, you will support the origination, structuring and execution of Real Estate finance transactions. Among the key responsibilities will include:

• Analyze client profiles and market trends to evaluate transaction risks while ensuring alignment with the bank's profitability and Natixis lending policy guidelines. Help designing structured, risk-mitigated financing solutions supported by cash flow projections, financial models, and peer comparisons.
• Collaborate with the local supervisors and Paris managers to prepare initial underwriting for each deal based on loan submission packages and available market data, presenting findings to the quote committee for pricing and proceeds.
• Drafting and processing credit applications in coordination with internal teams.
• Taking part in the syndication process: preparing documentation, information memorandum and marketing materials for participating banks/credit entities and monitoring the distribution of the financing.
• Help preparing client and brokers meetings / pitches.
• Internal systems & tools management: reporting, KYCs, quality control, ratings, LGDs, etc.
• Bachelor / Master´s degree from an accredited university in Economics and/or Finance preferably.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Real Estate Finance. Also, banking / alternative lenders / funds / advisory companies / top consultancy firms or any reputed corporates may fall within the scope.
• Good verbal and interpersonal skills are essential. Strong written communication skills are necessary to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Understanding of financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and DCF analysis
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Tools.
• Fluent in Spanish and English. Other languages might be appreciated.
• Recommendation letters to be provided.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools to enhance productivity (e.g., research, drafting) will be positively valued.
