About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director - Human Resources to join Jumeirah Mallorca.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• 
  
• Lead the people strategy for Jumeirah Mallorca’s refurbishment and reopening journey, ensuring colleagues are informed, supported, and inspired as the hotel prepares for a landmark new chapter in its story.
  
• Translate Jumeirah’s people priorities into a clear property HR plan that strengthens colleague experience, operational readiness, and the delivery of warm, generous service in a luxury hospitality environment.
  
• Partner closely with the General Manager and Regional Director of HR to guide leaders, build trust and accountability, and create the conditions for colleagues to perform at their best.
  
• Champion meaningful colleague engagement and communication throughout each refurbishment and reopening milestone, helping teams feel connected to the vision and proud of the part they play.
  
• Lead workforce planning, HR budgets, and people-related capital requirements with commercial discipline, ensuring decisions support both colleagues and the successful reopening of the property.
  
• Build strong people foundations through organisational design, recruitment planning, talent development, and HR governance, ensuring the property is ready to welcome and develop colleagues who can deliver Jumeirah’s distinctive guest experience.
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 
  
• 10 years’ progressive HR experience within luxury hospitality, with a proven ability to elevate the colleague experience and embed a warm, generous service culture.
  
• Demonstrated success in shaping recruitment, talent development, and succession initiatives that enable colleagues to grow and deliver distinctive guest experiences.
  
• A confident and inspiring people leader, able to partner effectively with senior stakeholders while building trust, accountability, and pride across operational teams.
  
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing HR budgets and workforce plans in complex, high-quality hospitality environments.
  
• A natural ambassador for Jumeirah’s standards, with the presence, cultural sensitivity, and communication skills to inspire colleagues and support purposeful experiences for guests.
