As a Backend Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions based on microservices architectures.

You will work within a banking environment, contributing to robust and high-performance applications while applying software engineering best practices and modern architectural principles.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as a Java Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid hands-on experience developing microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Hexagonal Architecture / Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Understanding of software development best practices, testing, and maintainable code.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is highly valued.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial sector is a strong plus.
• Based in or available to work from Madrid, Valencia or Barcelona.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and evolve scalable and resilient microservices.
• Apply Hexagonal Architecture and software engineering best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Participate in technical design and architectural decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment, and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Identify technical improvements and contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform.
