For the right person, we see this role as an excellent platform for future leadership opportunities within the Group.Chief of Staff HOSPITEN | Full-time Location: Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain Workplace: On-site Industry: Healthcare Systems and Services Function: Strategy and Business DevelopmentCompany DescriptionHOSPITEN is a growing international healthcare group with operations across Spain and America.The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO and Chairman, supporting them in the execution of the Group's strategic priorities, governance, business development and future growth.Position DescriptionKey responsibilitiesSupport the management and supervision of country managers, hospital managers and corporate directors, developing high-level relationships across the organization.Actively oversee and monitor the progress of transversal initiatives and strategic projects defined by the Management Committee.Manage and actively participate in monthly follow-up meetings with country managers, hospital managers and corporate directors.Prepare executive summaries and ensure effective follow-up of decisions, commitments and next steps, maintaining alignment across the organization.Act as a governance coordinator for the CEO and Chairman, helping structure the agenda, materials and follow-up of Board, Executive Committee and Management Committee meetings, ensuring that key decisions, owners, deadlines and escalation points are clearly documented.Support the definition and ongoing maintenance of governance tools such as decision-rights maps, delegation of authority, RACI matrices and matters-reserved lists, clarifying what should be decided by management, the CEO, the Chairman or the Board.Ensure governance discipline across the organization by tracking commitments arising from formal governance forums and proactively identifying issues requiring CEO, Chairman or Board attention.Maintain a weekly overview of Hospiten Group's strategic priorities and critical issues, helping the CEO and Chairman prioritize their time, attention and decision-making.Experience and QualificationsRequired qualifications and experience:4–5 years of experience in consulting, ideally within a leading strategy or management consulting firm.Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities.Ability to interact effectively with senior executives and operate across different businesses, functions and geographies.Excellent communication skills and executive-level synthesis.Experience in the hospital or healthcare sector is an asset, but not essential.Knowledge of AI and its practical business applications will be valued, particularly where the candidate has participated in AI-related projects, transformation initiatives or process-improvement use cases.Career DevelopmentThis position offers excellent professional development opportunities.It is conceived as a high-exposure role close to the CEO and Chairman, providing a unique understanding of HOSPITEN's strategy, governance and operations across Spain and Latin America. xcskxlj After successfully performing in the role, strong candidates may have the opportunity to progress into positions of significant responsibility within business units, hospitals, operations or country structures across the Group.
