At Glovo we are looking for a passionate and hands-on Tax Analyst that will be part of the Compliance & Reporting Tax team in Barcelona HQ.

THE JOURNEY

• Assist in the end-to-end preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax returns across Spain, Italy and Portugal.
• Manage and track of communications received from Tax Authorities
• Support the preparation of tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and year-end financial statement disclosures.
• Coordinate tax audit defense by preparing workpapers, gathering evidentiary documentation, and streamlining communication with tax authorities.
• Track changes in tax legislation and assess the potential impact on business operations and new product initiatives.
• Assist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities to optimize global tax compliance processes.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in CIT and VAT compliance, statutory reporting, and tax regulatory adherence.
• Good command of Microsoft office suite (Excel is a must) and/or G-Suite environment.
• Organized and detail-oriented person.
• Problem solving skills and get things done attitude.
• Efficiency, flexibility and proactiveness.
• Team worker.
• Ambition, curiosity, self-motivation and a positive and proactive approach to work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced English. Other languages are a plus.
