Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Field Service Engineer to provide both onsite and remote service and support for our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and maintain Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) instruments, ensuring optimal system performance. You will also collaborate with various teams to enhance service quality and customer experience. Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on NGS sequencing systems following documented procedures. * Install and decommission NGS sequencing systems at clinical sites in compliance with established protocols. * Maintain accurate documentation of service activities. * Coordinate service tasks with site personnel and ensure smooth operation. * Provide technical phone support and assistance to customers. * Assist in resolving technical issues before sequencing system installations. * Train colleagues and partners on NGS sequencing system maintenance and servicing. * Develop and update service instruction documentation. * Recommend design improvements to enhance system reliability, serviceability, and user experience. * Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. * Support manufacturing operations as required. * Perform additional duties as assigned. * Handle confidential information: Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with the organizations policies and procedures. * Maintain confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information, including personnel matters,legal documents, financial data, contracts, and other proprietary information.
