Deputy Manager

At BAY4LEADERS, executive search Boutique, we are partnering with a leading-global company in the industrial sector to strengthen its team with the addition of a Deputy Manager, to work directly with CEO. This is a corporate, strategic, and cross-functional role, focused on enabling executive decision-making and ensuring the company’s strategy is executed effectively.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international, and high-impact environment, supporting business growth, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making across multiple geographies.

Purpose of the role

Support the CEO in the global management of the company and ensure the proper execution of the corporate strategy. The Deputy Manager brings a strong financial and business perspective, coordinates cross-functional strategic initiatives, and provides follow-up, analysis, and control to enable executive decision-making.

Key responsibilities

A) Direct support to the CEO

• Prepare strategic analyses, reports, and recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Accompany the CEO in key meetings (clients, partners, institutions).
• Lead special initiatives and high-impact projects assigned directly by the CEO.
• Act as a link between the CEO and Corporate Directors.

B) Financial analysis and business control

• Build financial models, business cases, EBITDA analysis, and scenarios.
• Review and consolidate financial information from countries / business units.
• Supervise compliance with the annual budget (sales, margin, EBITDA, cash-flow).
• Monitor corporate KPIs and anticipate risks or deviations.

C) Corporate strategic coordination

• Oversee implementation of the Group’s strategic plan.
• Follow up on key projects across functions (Commercial, Industrial, Supply Chain, Innovation…).
• Ensure alignment across sites, countries, and corporate areas.
• Propose initiatives to improve efficiency, structure, and growth.

D) Internal and external stakeholder management

• Maintain direct interaction with department directors, country managers, and area leads.
• Prepare documentation for boards, committees, or investors.
• Support the CEO in institutional relationships, strategic partners, or global clients.

E) Executive information and reporting

• Filter, structure, and prioritize information relevant to the CEO.
• Produce clear executive reports for committees and corporate decisions.
• Develop dashboards and control tools to improve business visibility.
• Strategic mindset and analytical strength.
• High autonomy and executive judgement.
• Strong synthesis and clear communication at senior level.
• Trust, discretion, and handling of sensitive information.
• Ability to work with deadlines and multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Strong capability in financial modelling, business case development, and EBITDA/scenario analysis.
• Experience consolidating and reviewing business/financial information across countries and/or business units.
• Proven ability to produce executive-level reporting and decision-support materials (committees/boards/investors).
• Comfortable working in a role with high exposure, confidentiality, and multiple competing priorities
