Position Summary

The successful applicant will teach courses in Agricultural Business and potentially any additional topics identified to enhance and create an extremely well‑prepared workforce for the agricultural industry.

Instructor Responsibilities

• Adhere to and implement university and system‑wide policies as directed per Academic Policy Manual 306.
• Prepare, deliver, conduct, proctor, and grade lectures, office hours, homework, quizzes, class projects, and midterm/final exams.
• Offer all classes as scheduled throughout the semester in the mode assigned (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).

Compensation

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary range for Temporary Faculty with a Master’s degree is $5,507–$6,677 per month when teaching full time (15 WTUs), adjusted based on the number of WTUs assigned per term.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A Master’s degree in Agricultural Business or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, demonstrated through prior teaching experience, evaluations, or other evidence.
• Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Experience in an educational discipline.
• Demonstrated ability/experience in student development.
