Role Description

The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mijas, responsible for overseeing all HR functions and supporting a positive, high-performing work environment. Day-to-day tasks include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinating performance reviews, and maintaining HR policies and procedures. The role also involves handling employee relations, supporting training and development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. The Human Resources Manager will partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, manage HR documentation and systems, and foster a culture that reflects Zoco Home’s values and collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Experience in core HR management areas, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and Spanish labor law, with the ability to ensure compliance and maintain accurate HR documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, manage sensitive situations, and support diverse teams.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with HR systems and digital tools, such as HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and basic office software.
• Previous experience in a retail, design, or creative environment is an advantage, as is familiarity with fast-growing, entrepreneurial companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are highly beneficial.
