Technical Sales Representative

KWS Vegetables is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to strengthen our commercial growth across Murcia, La Mancha and northern Almería, with the position based in Murcia. We are looking for someone with strong agronomic knowledge, experience in the vegetable seed industry and an established network in the region, particularly within open-field crops such as melon and watermelon. In this new, permanent, full-time position, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth of KWS Vegetables and the development of our business in the region.

Your key responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage and develop the customer portfolio within the assigned territory, building strong and long-term commercial relationships
  
• Drive sales, margins and market share for our varieties by identifying new business opportunities and customer needs
  
• Maintain close relationships with growers, produce companies, distributors and other relevant stakeholders in the market
  
• Provide technical advice to customers on our varieties and crop management, combining agronomic expertise with a commercial mindset
  
• Identify market trends, customer needs and competitor activities, and share relevant insights with internal teams
  
• Actively participate in Local Crop Teams, collaborating with Product Development, Breeding and Product Management to help shape the local strategy for crops such as melon and watermelon
  
• Work closely with Marketing on the organization of Field Days, commercial initiatives and activities to position our varieties in the market
  

This is a highly field-based role, involving frequent customer visits across the assigned territory.

What you bring

• 
  
• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or a comparable field
  
• Commercial experience and strong knowledge of the vegetable seed market
  
• Good knowledge of the agricultural market in Murcia and surrounding areas, particularly melon and watermelon
  
• An established network of contacts in the region and the ability to build new commercial relationships
  
• A strong commercial mindset, with experience in negotiation, customer management and business development
  
• An autonomous, proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to organize and manage your own activities
  
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  
• Fluent Spanish and conversational English (minimum B1)
  

Previous experience with other vegetable crops such as pepper or tomato will be particularly valued.
