Commercial Lawyer

You'll partner closely with teams across Sales, Partnerships, Business Development, Product, and Operations to structure deals, manage legal risk, and support strategic initiatives in a fast-moving AI environment.

What you'll do

• 
  
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS and subscription contracts, licensing agreements, partnership deals, reseller and affiliate arrangements, and procurement contracts.
  
• Lead enterprise contract negotiations from start to finish, including MSAs, DPAs, and order forms.
  
• Manage AI-related licensing and vendor agreements with model providers, helping define how third-party models are integrated into our products.
  
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to streamline contracting processes and approval frameworks.
  
• Build, maintain, and improve contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal resources.
  
• Apply EU and international regulations relating to data protection, AI, intellectual property, and copyright in day-to-day commercial work.
  
• Provide practical legal guidance to teams working across multiple countries and time zones.
  
• Help scale the Legal function through process improvements, automation, and operational excellence.
  

What we’re looking for

• 
  
• Law degree and qualification to practice in an EU/EMEA jurisdiction (Spain or another EU country).
  
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience. In-house experience within a technology or SaaS company is a strong plus.
  
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and partnership contracts.
  
• Solid understanding of software licensing, SaaS business models, GDPR, and intellectual property rights.
  
• Familiarity with the EU AI Act, Digital Services Act (DSA), or a strong interest in becoming an expert in these areas.
  
• Fluent English is required; Spanish is strongly preferred.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
