Senior ST Power Product Owner - TotalEnergies

Context & Environment

As part of its ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, TotalEnergies is significantly expanding its global position across the entire energy value chain, particularly within the fast-growing renewable and flexible generation sectors.

To maximize the value of these assets in spot markets, the Global ST Power division operates through a global framework aggregating regional and national flexibility assets (CCGT, Hydro, Batteries, etc), renewable generation (Wind and Solar), and electricity supply activities.

The position holder will be part of the ST Power Spain team, operating in a high-pressure environment with time-critical activities and extreme market volatility.

Activities

Product Ownership, Roadmap & Stakeholder Management

• Define and own the vision,strategyand roadmap of ST PowerIberiaoperational and trading systems, ensuring alignment with businessobjectives,technical constraints,regulatoryrequirementsand portfolio growth ambitions.
• Serve as the primary interface between traders, analysts, operations teams, IT delivery teams and external partners to understand& formalizebusiness needs, challenge requirements and align stakeholders on priorities.
• Own and prioritize the product backlogs, making trade-off decisions based on business value, operational risks, technicalconstraintsand delivery capacity.
• Identifyopportunities to enhance operational efficiency, automation and decision-making capabilities through product evolution and digital innovation.

Product & System Development

• Translate business needs into functional requirements and work hands-on withITteams to design,buildand implement scalable solutions supporting ST Power operationsand analytics.
• Maintain an end-to-end understanding of business processes, dataflowsand system interactions across the ST Power value chain, from market access and optimization to dispatch, control roomoperationsandreporting activities.
• Develop strong knowledge of the application landscape, system architecture, integrations, databases,asset managementplatformsand analytics solutions supporting ST Poweractivities.
• Act as the business owner throughout theproductdevelopment lifecycle,validatingsolution design, testingoutcomesand production readiness, in alignment with ST Power business stakeholders.
• Drive the continuous evolution of systems and products to support changing market conditions, businessrequirementsand portfolio growth.

Adoption & Continuous Improvement

• Maximize the business value delivered by ST Power products by promoting user adoption, gathering feedback from businessstakeholdersand translating operational challenges into product enhancements and roadmap priorities.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems and digital capabilities, driving automation, efficiency,rationalization with other systems in STP Europe, robustness and scalability across ST Power.
• Identifyinnovative solutions to business needs, evaluate external technologies(in alignment with all TTE stakeholders)andcontribute toRFQ processesled by ITwhenrequiredto support the evolution of local products and the long-term product strategy.

Candidate Profile

• Master'sdegree in Engineering , Computer Science ,Energy Management or a relate d discipline.
• Strong understanding of energy markets , commodity trading and risk management , with experience supporting operational or trading activities through digital solutions .
• Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience , including significant experience in product management , business analysis , digital transformation or IT delivery roles within energy , trading or other complex operational environments .
• Proven experience acting as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst , managing product roadmaps , backlogs and stakeholder alignment across multidisciplinary teams .
• Strong ability to translate business challenges into scalable digital solutions and to balance business value , operational needs and technical constraints .
• Solid understanding of system architecture , application integrations , databases , data flows and software delivery processes . Ability to engage effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams .
• Experience working across the full produc tlifecycle , from business requirements and solution design through implementation , testing , deployment and continuous improvement , with demonstrated ability to operate in fast -paced environments with multiple competing priorities .
• Strong analytical , communication and problem-solving skills , with a hands-on and pragmatic mindset .
• Fluent Spanish and English required . French is a plus.
