Senior Cyber & Tech PI Underwriter

Job Overview

We are looking for a Suscriptor/a Cyber to join our central office in Madrid or Barcelona. The main objective will be to work on Zurich’s Cyber portfolio, focusing on corporate clients across various industries and combined products: Cyber standalone, Cyber + Tech PI, and Cyber + Crime.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ cyber risk questionnaires and details.
• Lead internal projects.
• Know the applicable policies and modify them if necessary.
• Negotiate conditions and prices with brokers.
• Maintain a fluid dialogue with internal stakeholders (underwriting support, Head of Underwriting, Portfolio Management, etc.).
• Coordinate and manage relationships with brokers.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Economics, Law (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance sector (brokering/subscription) or cybersecurity risk consulting.
• Deep knowledge of the insurance sector.
• Professional level English. Portuguese and Italian are a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Commercial and negotiation skills with brokers.
