Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Madrid. Main TasksProvide technical support during the sales and proposal stages.Participate in internal and customer project kick-off meetings for assigned projects.Review tender documentation against customer specifications, Sécheron standards, and cost calculations.Coordinate and conduct site surveys when required, including international travel.Develop and deliver comprehensive mechanical engineering designs for assigned projects.Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation to support production.Provide engineering support to production, including functional testing and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) when required.Support the Project Manager during customer reviews and approvals of mechanical designs.Prepare and coordinate technical responses to customer inquiries through the Project Manager.RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the energy transmission and distribution industry or in the design of special-purpose industrial machinery.Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.Ability to communicate in English; Spanish, French, German or Portuguese would be a plus.Availability to travel.Ability to work autonomously within a team.
