Job-ID: 7af415ec-0aff-4c40-9b18-1c85dbd5faf6Reference: # Location: Barcelona, SpainJob type: full-time, HybridSalary: EUR 80KCategory: InfraStack: Python, GO, AWS, AIContact: RoleAs Principal Architect, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working closely with the VP of Engineering to design and implement the architecture for next-generation products and services.This is a hands-on and highly creative role, ideal for someone who thrives on building from scratch, experimenting with new ideas, and translating them into real, scalable solutions.You’ll collaborate across engineering and product teams to bring new concepts to life, from early-stage proofs of concept to production-ready systems, while keeping an eye on performance, scalability, and long-term vision.ResponsibilitiesSenior engineer or architect with experience in both backend and frontend.Proven experience designing and building scalable, high-traffic systems.Comfortable working in environments that balance legacy systems with new product development.Passionate about AI, innovation, and emerging technologies, even if you haven’t led AI projects before.Curious, proactive, and hands-on, you enjoy creating rather than maintaining.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong English level (written and spoken)Experience with AWS is essential.Experience working in startups or building platforms from zero is highly valued.RequirementsPartner with the VP of Engineering to design architecture for new products and services.Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand business needs and propose technical solutions.Explore and validate new technologies, including potential applications of AI and interactive content innovation.Develop and maintain proofs of concept (POCs) for new ideas.Serve as a technical reference point for complex architectural challenges.Contribute to the modernization of existing systems and propose forward-thinking solutions.Work autonomously with strong DevOps support and freedom to choose technologies (Python, Go, etc.) when justified.BenefitsA high-impact role with direct visibility across engineering, product, and leadership.The freedom to innovate, experiment, and shape the technology roadmap.Hybrid work model: remote flexibility with at least one day per week onsite in Barcelona.Competitive salary range of 80,000 + benefits
