Supplier Quality Engineer Blade Material (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP4Wind) and Process Sign-Off (PPAP) for suppliersAssess and develop supplier manufacturing processes for quality, capacity, and capabilityDrive resolution of supplier-related quality issues from pre-production through post-launchServe as the technical authority for propulsion manufacturing processesConduct supplier readiness reviews and launch support, including run-at-rate and PPAP validationCollaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality alignmentContributes to and participates in Material Review BoardsContributes and participates in supplier performance reviewsContributes to establishment & driving Supplier Quality improvement goalsManage suppliers on an ongoing basis via regular contact, periodic audits and other methods to guarantee consistent high quality performance on an ongoing basisProviding technical support to the receiving inspection functionSupporting Operations, Engineering, Program Management and other functional groups by providing trend analysis and root cause analysis investigations, corrective action recommendationsAssist supplier with inspection validation during qualification phase, as requiredLead Standardization projects/procedures between all functions in NordexEstablishing common rules for performing supplier assessments and standardizationYOUR PROFILE:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/work experience) in Industrial, mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field5+ years of professional experience as a Manufacturing and/or Supplier Quality Engineer/ specialist in qualifying suppliers for Blade materials, composites or relatedISO9000/CQMS Lead/ Internal auditor qualificationStrong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001), Supplier Quality Management, inspection methodologies, and quality improvement toolsHaving solid knowledge and experience of driving APQP/ APQP4Wind, FMEAsGood understanding of Six Sigma & Lean methodology is preferredSAP proficiency is a plusYOUR BENEFITSIn addition to the opportunity to make our world a little more sustainable, we offer you:*Some offers may vary by locationNordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
