Finance and Accounting Executive

Our client is a well-established industrial company operating in the printing machinery sector, serving international clients across packaging and manufacturing industries.We are looking for a Finance andAccounting Executive.Finance and Accounts Executive:The Finance & Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with timely financial reporting and data analyses. This role has a key part in maintaining financial discipline, strengthening internal controls, and supporting business teams with timely MIS reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to internal controls, and coordination with internal departments and external stakeholdersReports To: The Finance and Accounts Executive will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Accounting OperationsRecord daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).Verify supplier invoices and process payments.Issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.Financial Control & ReportingPerform bank and ledger reconciliations.Maintain accurate expense records and account classifications.Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analyses.Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.ComplianceAssist with VAT returns, statutory filings, audits, and compliance with Spanish accounting and tax regulations.Maintain organized financial documentation.Coordination & Process ImprovementCoordinate with Purchase, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate financial information.Use ERP and accounting systems to record transactions.Support process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and tax regulations is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.ExperienceExperience in accounting and finance functions is preferred.Exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Manufacturing or industrial sector experience is an advantage.Candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow will also be considered.CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.Good communication, organization, and time management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Typefull time
