Company Overview

I am partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing company specializing in protective coatings, known for supplying paints that safeguard ships, infrastructure, and industrial equipment from corrosion and harsh environments. We are seeking a talented Global Sourcing Manager to join the dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Procurement: Oversee and manage the procurement of raw materials essential for production processes.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of raw materials.
• Spend Analysis: Analyze purchasing data related to raw materials to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies specific to raw materials that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations for raw materials.
• Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and pricing for raw materials to make informed sourcing decisions.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement or sourcing of raw materials within the chemical industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier contracts for raw materials.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
