Fullstack Engineer (Java & Angular) at Sopra Steria

Our client is a leader in the insurance industry. You will be part of a mixed client-supplier agile team (designers, developers, testers) aiming to deploy the commercial strategic platform in 28 countries. The team will be based in Barcelona. As a developer, you will analyze and implement technical and functional requirements, and work on improving the current software solution.

Responsibilities

Apply new and innovative technologies for software improvement.

Implement technical and functional requirements based on the functional design.

Define technical specifications.

Participate in the design of the IT environment, providing expertise in Java / J2EE development.

Support design and testing phases within the teams.

Analyze and correct defects.

Create documentation based on software development guidelines.

Qualifications

University degree in Informatics (TU, FH) or equivalent qualification

Very good English skills

Experience with Java, Angular or similar client-side frameworks

Strong understanding of Java and common frameworks like Spring

Several years of professional software development experience

Team player willing to learn and share knowledge

Skills : JAVA 8+
