Early Career AOCS engineer

Job Description:

Reporting to the Avionics engineering department in Madrid you will have a stimulating blend of learning and technical work and will gain extensive experience in the design and analysis of avionics engineering for both small studies and large projects as well as having the unique opportunity to work on flight algorithms and flight hardware.

The possibility for developing in other avionics engineering areas in the short term is also possible and promoted from the department.

Besides beyond avionics engineering the selected candidate will benefit from a close relation with other engineering domains like electrical thermal or mechanical architects all working together in a open space.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design implementation verification and validation activities for missions Phases 0 to E

• The successful candidate will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design implementation verification and validation activities for missions Phases 0 to E

• You will produce relevant documentation (design justifications software requirements for AOCS/GNC algorithms performance analysis documentation etc.)

• You will develop software to a prototype level (non/real time simulator development mostly under Matlab /Simulink but also occasionally also in C or Python).

• You will also support reviews and workshops with the customer / partners and stakeholders

SKILLS

• .Degree or equivalent in aerospace discipline

• Qualifications with dynamics and filtering/estimation/control engineering content

• Experienced in participating within a GNC/AOCS project at some point of the

• development and validation cycle

• Matlab and Simulink experience

• Being part during last years of Airbus in a trainneship or any other collaboration will be valued.
