Reports to : Chief Customer Success Officer

Hybrid Role : Limited travel to the Barcelona HQ (every other month)

Other Travel : Limited travel to client sites is anticipated, but will not be intensive

The Position

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who specializes in software / systems integration projects within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Therefore, candidates MUST HAVE a technical background, preferably in Engineering (Industrial, Electronics, IT, Physics, Life Sciences) with demonstrated experience in Life Sciences and Industrial Processes.

This role will be critical to the continued growth of this start-up, as they onboard increasingly larger client accounts, and address more complex implementations. The Senior Project Manager will mentor and lead junior project managers to successfully deliver project requirements.

Responsibilities

Leading project meetings, coordinating resources and project planning between internal and external stakeholders, tracking project progress / status, and managing overall project risk

Developing project scopes and objectives, manage the relationship with the clients, ensure that projects are delivered on time, managing expectations with customers and ensuring their goals and objectives are met

Analyze and interpret the needs of the customers, building-specific solutions that fit those requirements, using the tools and algorithms provided by the product

Perform risk management to minimize project risks, report and escalate to management as needed

Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors

Manage Scrum boards and Jira Roadmaps for project progress

Perform Sprint meetings (Planning, Standup, Review, Retrospective)

Detecting future business opportunities for sales

Being proactive and proposing platform improvements, work collaboratively with data scientists, quality engineers, usability experts, and clients to improve the platform and expand the range of standard solutions

Knowledge & Experience

Experience in managing and deploying eBR projects and other enterprise software implementations for the Life Sciences industry

Experience in software development companies focused on the pharma market

At least 5 years of experience leading projects within an Agile / Scrum methodology to quickly iterate and deliver value to customers.

Fluency in Spanish and English, with French an added bonus

Expertise in Jira and Google Suite

Knowledge of Business Intelligence : ETL / Data Warehouse methodologies

Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile / Scrum / Lean) and management of deadlines

Able to work in a team and project-oriented

Availability to travel to clients is required
