About Street Smash Burgers

Street Smash Burgers is expanding fast across Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Switzerland). As we scale, technology is essential to keep our stores and corporate teams running smoothly every day.

We are looking for ourfirst in-house IT Specialist— a proactive, hands-on professional who will be the go-to person for all internal tech needs. In this role, you will manage day-to-day support, handle employee onboarding, oversee user access, and maintain basic physical IT systems (CCTV, access control, store connectivity) across our international locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Onboarding & Account Management

  • New Hire Onboarding & Offboarding: Set up new team members from day one — creating company emails, managing user accounts, assigning permissions, and ordering/preparing equipment (laptops, mobiles).
  • Workspace Administration: Manage corporate users and licensing in Google Workspace / Microsoft 365.

2. Physical Infrastructure & Store Hardware

  • Security & Access Systems: Install, configure, and maintain security cameras (CCTV) and physical/logical access control systems.
  • Network & Hardware Support: Troubleshoot basic store networks (routers, Wi-Fi, switches) and hardware (printers, screens, laptops).
  • Store IT Setup Support: Assist with preparing and sending IT equipment when new locations open.

3. International User Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for corporate staff and store managers in Spain, Portugal, and Italy for daily technical issues.
  • Communicate in English with store teams in Portugal and Italy to troubleshoot operational blockers.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • Good Working English (B2/C1): Able to hold phone/video calls and text comfortably in English with store teams in Portugal and Italy.
  • Hands-on Hardware & Systems Knowledge: Experience configuring laptops, routers, CCTV cameras, access control, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
  • User & Email Administration: Hands-on experience managing Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, email account creation, and user permissions.
  • Service Mindset & Autonomy: Being comfortable as the main "go-to" IT contact, with a helpful, organized, and problem-solving attitude.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience or familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems in restaurant/retail environments (training on our specific system will be provided).
  • Knowledge of Portuguese or Italian.

What We Offer

  • Autonomy & Impact: Be the direct owner of daily IT operations in a fast-growing international company.
  • Professional Development: Gain broad hands-on experience across cloud systems, hardware, networks, and store technology.
  • Competitive Salary: Aligned with experience and technical skills.
  • Great work atmosphere and smash burger perks!
