Madrid - Workday HCM Functional Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client business requirements and configure the Workday solution accordingly.
• Lead workshops and working sessions with large, global organizations to gather, interpret, and document requirements, especially for Core HCM.
• Design, prototype, test, and deliver Workday configurations, demonstrating prototypes to secure customer acceptance.
• Assist clients throughout the testing phase of the Workday solution.
• Prepare and provide status reports to the Engagement Manager and keep stakeholders informed of overall project progress.
• Offer subject‑matter expertise on key business process decisions, industry nuances, and functional areas.
• Support Workday operations by recommending monitoring improvements, creating metrics, and enforcing data and process standards in Core HCM.
• Participate in the Workday Community, contributing expertise, requesting enhancements, and collaborating with other customers and user groups.
• Advocate for and apply Workday best practices and the Workday Implementation Methodology in all engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of how technology is reshaping businesses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
• Creative and analytical problem‑solving abilities with a prioritization mindset.
• Continuous desire to acquire new knowledge and a passion for teamwork.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French, Italian, or Polish is a plus.

Work Location & Travel

Madrid or Barcelona. Availability to travel as needed.
