Senior Data Analyst

VivaGym operates over 200 gyms across Spain and Portugal. We are a low-cost, no contract, subscription-based business. As we continue to expand and evolve, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can take ownership of data visualizations, analysis and insights.

The ideal person will be a driven, passionate, self-starter who is able to develop innovative and effective approaches to solve our most critical business and data challenges.

The position is a full-time permanent role, reporting to the Head of Data and Insights. The role will cover the Iberian business and will be based in the Málaga, Head Office with remote working policy of 1 day per week.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Gain an understanding of our core databases (SQL Server, Redshift and Azure) and the data available.
• Understand how business processes are reflected in the databases.
• Support other team members and 3rd party developers in building other data platform solutions including our new Microsoft Fabric environment.
• Gather reporting requirements from internal stakeholders and build reports and dashboards in Excel, Superset and Power BI to automatically provide the required KPIs.
• Translate raw customer data into actionable insights, clear and coherent analysis, and data-driven recommendations.
• Provide an ongoing understanding of customer trends across the business.
• Supervise and oversee junior / less experienced data analysts
