The Alpega Group is looking for an AP Accountant. This role will be part of our Finance & Accounting team within Alpega. This role is based in Barcelona, Spain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Responsible for the day-to-day accounting of several subsidiaries in areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting.
  
• Support of the accounting team with the monthly closing.
  
• Provide assistance for statistical reports as well as statutory notifications.
  
• Proactive engagement in process optimization projects.
  

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

• 
  
• Successfully completed accounting education
  
• Excellent Excel skills
  
• Knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage.
  
• Excellent communication skills in English.
  
• Advance/Bilingual level of Spanish is a plus
  
• Highly detail oriented & using structured approaches to problem solving.
  
• Responsible, proactive, autonomous & flexible.
  
• Willing to continuous training and extension of the knowledge.
  
• Dynamic, passionate, positive and enthusiastic.
  
• Team oriented, having a strong ability to communicate properly with internal and external stakeholder at all levels.
