Specialist, Legal Technology and Innovation

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will play an active role within the Legal Ops team in managing adoption of new tools that are technology and innovation-driven for the legal department, including training users, creating user guide documentation, serving as a change agent, and working closely with smaller teams/sub regions to support the transformation process.

In coordination with our department’s technology lead, you will assist with managing vendor requests and relationship in addition to tracking our overall department legal tech initiatives pipeline and long-term roadmap.

You will also assist with pilot management, including onboarding of new vendors, setting up pilot groups, communication with pilot users, and tracking of progress and outcome of pilots. You will also assist the team with data management and engineering, including but not limited to, curating existing data for Gen AI use cases, improving and organizing data/documents in a contract lifecycle management tool, data reporting on usage and performance of tools, as well as support integration of existing data in legal tech tools utilized by the department. This role will include additional ad hoc project management tasks under the direction of Legal Ops colleagues as well.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technology and innovation-driven professional who has experience of application of technology tools in law firms or corporate in-house legal departments
• Fluent in English
• Excellent organizational skills and judgment, including the ability to efficiently handle high volume of work effectively, recognize priorities, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Confident team player who is highly collaborative and flexible and appreciates the confidential aspect of the legal work
• Ability to work in an international environment, with strong project/IT management skills, and across various team dynamics
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including clear and effective writing and communication skills
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, CLM tools, and Miro
