This full-time, on-site Purchasing Logistics Specialist role is based in the Greater Palma de Mallorca Metropolitan Area. The specialist coordinates end-to-end purchasing activities, including creating, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, aligning orders with demand forecasts, and collaborating with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms. The specialist works closely with internal teams such as merchandising, warehouse, and finance to resolve discrepancies, manage returns, and maintain up-to-date records in relevant systems. Daily tasks also include tracking shipments, managing logistics documentation, addressing delays or issues with carriers, and continuously improving purchasing and logistics processes to support smooth store and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, with experience in purchasing and purchase management.
  
• Hands-on experience creating, managing, and tracking purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
  
• Solid understanding of logistics, inventory control, and basic supply chain principles.
  
• Proficiency with ERP.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple open orders and deadlines.
  
• Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to handle shipment delays, discrepancies, and quality issues calmly and constructively.
  
• Relevant education in supply chain, business administration, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. xcskxlj
  
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Palma de Mallorca Metropolitan Area and collaborate in a multicultural environment; additional language skills are a plus.
