Experteer Overview As Wording Expert, you provide specialized legal and regulatory support across the LH1.2 region, focusing on risk assessment, underwriting governance, and financial reinsurance transactions. You work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, Compliance, and Central Units to ensure products, contracts, and activities comply with laws and internal governance. You advise throughout the transaction lifecycle, shaping wordings and mitigating legal, regulatory, and reputational risks in multi‑jurisdictional contexts. You translate regulatory changes into clear guidance for senior stakeholders and contribute to governance, digital solutions, and cross‑regional collaboration. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Provide legal governance and quality assurance to ensure compliance with evolving reinsurance regulations • Deliver clear legal interpretations on data protection, sanctions, conduct of business, solvency, and other regulatory topics • Act as second line Wording Expert for LH1.2 approvals and align wordings with market practices and internal policies • Review complex or non‑standard contracts and bespoke structures • Participate in external contract wording benchmarking and market discussions for competitiveness and compliance • Handle complex legal cases including coverage analysis, contractual interpretation, enforceability, and governance of exceptional decisions • Prepare pre‑litigation documentation and coordinate with external counsel • Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into actionable plans • Review digital tools and platforms for legal, data-sharing, IP, and contractual implications • Produce and monitor contractual documentation for SARA or other UW automated solutions • Deliver training on legal, regulatory, and contractual topics to LH1.2 stakeholders • Collaborate with regional wording specialists and legal counsel to align standards and share knowledge Responsabilidades • Qualified lawyer with insurance/reinsurance contract and regulatory experience • Strong drafting skills and knowledge of contract law and insurance regulation • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business guidance • Experience with multinational and cross‑functional teams • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured problem solving • Excellent stakeholder management and communication • Advanced proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English Requisitos principales • Competitive salary • Retirement provision • Work-life balance • Health management • Hybrid working • Equal opportunities employer
